Crafting compelling narratives that resonate like a symphony, Sonal Batra, is a passionate storyteller who weaves together visuals and emotion to create unforgettable experiences. Her focus is to create films with unique visual devices and music to create grand moments and hence, she is a natural at heartfelt narratives, quirky lifestyle and humor films.
When she is not working, she is usually trying to save her over watered plants, playing tennis or browsing furniture.

Her love for storytelling led her to direct narratives across genres in advertising, short films and long formats. Whether it’s her web series Home sweet office, Bandhan Bank’s campaign for Mothers Day or quirky film for Digit India, it is important for her that each of her films invoke something real for her audience. Her film for Axis Bank “Pause the Bargain” won accolades at Abbys and Spikes Asia Gold in 2022 ; Byju’s Gandhi Jayanti with veteran actor Manoj Kumar won a Gold at MoM awards.

Sonal wants to change the boundaries of what's possible in the world of traditional visual storytelling and she is always looking for new ways to use film to inspire audiences.
